Citing sources

Our group thinks that citing sources is important because the reader has a better experience when they know exactly what you’re referencing. If the reader wanted to go into even more detail, they could read through the entire article we are getting our information from. Also it easier to hold something credible when it comes from a reliable source.



The main form of citation on our blog will be hyperlinks. They will be used by hyperlinking certain key words throughout our blog that will lead exactly to the source we are discussing. We chose this because of the way blogs are formatted. A hyperlink seems the most appropriate for a blog. Blogs are read on a computer and therefore there should never be any problem opening the link. If you have access to the blog you should also be able to access the website that the hyperlink leads to.
