This relates to the piece of art I chose to do because it is similar to the other works of the artist. He likes to photograph things exactly as they are in nature, or what nature has done to them. This photo is actually very similar to the ones Richard Mosses takes. It’s almost creating a surreal setting. It is showing what once was a mastered piece of engineering slowly changing back to being part of the earth.

This website is full of images saturated similarly to the original photo. The top picture in particular stands out to me. It aims to create a very drastic change in the colors in the photo. The trees are pink instead or the pink/red in the original. The Sky is a blue color similar to the river in the original. The main reason these images are similar is because of the

This photo is similar to the original because of the hyper saturation of the colors. There is also a river in this piece like the original. The main difference is the colors are saturated to be yellow. But it still shows the river. The river is important because it gives the piece a calm tone. The river really brings everything together because it all runs into the river eventually. Another main difference is that this photo has been given a little blur effect.

This photo is the most similar to the original I have seen. The main difference is that the coloring is a slightly different hue. This image is also very sharp compared to the last. The last photo had a blur effect that took away from the quality. This image also has a river. Once again the river really brings unity to the piece. The colors are super saturated to bring the surrealism aspect to it. But the facts that it was an original real photo still makes it hold onto reality and connect to the audience.

This photo is the opposite of the original photo. The colors have been drained out of the of the trees. That’s what make it surreal. The white also gives it a winter look and the tree shouldn’t have leaves in the winter. The trend remains the same for there being a source of water in all of these surreal photos. They give another place for the artist to manipulate color to add the surreal affect.
